Process Capability
The Investment Castings Process is capable of producing :
- Castings in a weight range of 10 grams to 90 kg and size up to 600mm.
- Thin wall to thick wall casting ranges from 2mm to 100mm Complex geometry casting with better dimension accuracy
- A wide range of batch quantities, i.e. less than 50 pcs. in case of large piece weight castings or over a million pieces a year for automotive applications
- Near-net shape castings, eliminating or substantially reducing the need for expensive machining operations
- Close dimensional tolerances
- Very good surface finish with Ra 3.2 to 6.3
- Casting soundness meeting requirements of Aerospace, Nuclear, Medical, Defence industry standards
